Each piece is inspected and treated according to its unique material, finish, and condition. Turnaround time is typically 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the item and the cleaning required. Oakwood offers specialty off-site rug cleaning for select types, including fine wool, oriental, and decorative rugs. Please note that we do not clean every type of rug, and some pieces may require alternative care recommendations or referral to another specialist. Draperies
Drapery cleaning is a delicate process that demands professional evaluation before any work begins. Due to material and construction variations, not all draperies can be cleaned safely or effectively. Here are a few important guidelines: Blackout-lined draperies cannot be cleaned. Certain stains, such as pet urine (especially from cats), cannot be removed effectively. Most draperies must be evaluated by our production manager before pricing and cleanability can be confirmed. Turnaround time ranges from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the material, lining, and overall condition. Our team will always inspect your draperies thoroughly and provide honest recommendations to help preserve their beauty and integrity.
