Oakwood Cleaners is endorsed by the Association of Bridal Consultants and are Certified Wedding Gown Specialists. Our trademarked MuseumCare™ ZeroCarbon™ preservations include:
Anti-Sugar Stain Treatment
Environmentally-Pure, Lasting Protection
Every wedding gown is hand cleaned and treated with an anti-sugar stain process to remove latent stains that turn an ugly brown over time. Your gown is then layered with acid-free tissue to buffer the folds and placed in a completely acid-free, archival-quality wedding chest, wrapped with a muslin blanket and then placed inside a muslin bag for even more buffering against harmful dust and bugs. We suggest that you open your box every 3 to 5 years to allow your gown to breath and to regain the memories of that very special day.
Your preservation comes with a written international guarantee that your bridal gown will not yellow or be spotted with caramelized sugar stains and is honored by members of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists represented in more than 500 cities around the world. When your wedding gown is to be worn again, just return it to any participating Certified Wedding Gown Specialist™ who will inspect and press your wedding gown at no charge.
And now when you choose us to give your beautiful gown the care it deserves, you also choose to help safeguard the future of our planet as well. We offset all carbon dioxide emissions that result from the process of cleaning and preserving your wedding gown with our donations to Carbonfund.org, the leading nonprofit carbon offset and climate solutions organization, and Carbonfund.org uses our donations to help fund reforestation projects around the world. Certified Wedding Gown Specialists™ are the first in the industry to offer carbon-neutral wedding gown cleaning and wedding gown preservation, and our ZeroCarbon™ gown preservations are unique. Please come in for a price quote on cleaning and preservation.
